Innovation #1: The Triple Cube
The Triple Cube was the first in a line of Tribune Interactive innovations for 2008. This unit was created for advertisers with muliple objectives. The Triple Cube can be used to promote three items, products or services as part of one sale. It can also be used to promote multiple partner brands as part of a co-branded campaign.

Innovation #2: Green Section
Launched in Febraury, 2008, this network-wide section is dedicated to helping consumers lead a greener life by providing environmental stories, tips, video, photos and applications that help make greener living a part of daily life. Advertising on Tribune’s green section give brands an opportunity to align products and services with environmentally-conscious consumers.

Innovation #3: QuickStream
QuickStream is a 3-5 second pre-roll that makes it simple for an advertiser to create a video ad campaign. This ad unit runs before user-initiated content and delivers a quick, minimally intrusive message to users with an audio tagline similar to an animated billboard on television. It offers high visibility and is easy to execute.

Innovation #4: Surround Session
Surround users with relevant advertising by delivering the same advertising message as they travel throughout the site. The message is only sent to users who have demonstrated a specific key behavior in the last 30 days that is relevant to the ad (i.e., auto enthusiasts who have visited the auto section at lease three times in the last month).
